Proxmox and virtualisation
Cluster build-outs, migrations off other hypervisors, storage layout, snapshots and replication, and untangling a cluster that someone else left half configured.
Hire me
The channel is a real production lab, not a demo rig. Every failure in those videos happened on hardware I own and had to recover myself. If you need the same work done on your network, your servers or your backups, that is what this page is for.
Retired Army National Guard Sergeant First Class. A career of being the person who has to make it work with what is on hand, document it so the next shift can follow it, and hand it over running. That habit is the whole reason this lab is monitored and backed up instead of just built.
What I do
Not a reseller and not a reseller's engineer. These are the systems in my own rack, which means you get someone who has already made the mistakes on their own gear.
01
Cluster build-outs, migrations off other hypervisors, storage layout, snapshots and replication, and untangling a cluster that someone else left half configured.
02
Domain design, domain controller health, replication faults, group policy, DNS that an AD domain actually needs, and cleaning up after a failed promotion or a dead DC.
03
Segmenting a flat network without taking the house or office down. Guest and camera isolation, firewall rules that survive a reboot, wireless that does not need babysitting.
04
Docker and container stacks, reverse proxies, certificates, single sign-on, and getting a service reachable from outside without opening a hole you will regret.
05
Dashboards are the easy half. The hard half is an alert that fires when a thing is silently dead, and a check you have actually watched fail on purpose before you trusted it.
06
Backup jobs that are verified, not just green. Off-box copies, retention that fits the disk you own, and a restore test — because an untested backup is a rumour.
How it works
Use the form below. Plain words are fine. You do not need to know the right name for it.
If it is outside what I do, I will say so instead of learning on your money.
A fixed price for a defined job, or an hourly rate for open-ended work. Your choice, agreed up front.
Written down well enough that you or the next person can run it without me. That is the deliverable, not a favour.
Contact
No obligation and no sales sequence. If it is not a fit I will tell you that in the reply.
What I will not do: anything that needs me to hold your passwords in a chat window, anything that touches a system I am not authorised on, and anything I would have to learn on your money. I will say no and point you at someone better.
That is the standard I hold my own rack to. Yours gets the same one.
